Accessories

  • Some of the knitting accessories are: stitch holders, stitch markers, row counters, point protectors, yarn needles, crochet hooks, and measuring tapes. Stitch holders hold unneeded stitches without them unraveling. You can place a stitch marker at the begging of a row when you are knitting in rounds. Or place them in between stitches when you are knitting with fur yarn. Row counters help you keep tract of how many rows you have knitted. Point protectors keep the tips of knitting needles in good condition. You use yarn needles when you are sewing with yarn, and crochet hooks help you pick up lost stitches.
  • Knitting needle are carved out of  wood, plastic, or metal in a range of sizes from 0000 to 50.  Double pointed knitting needles are used for knitting in round. Circular knitting needles are also used for knitting in round or when there are too many stitches to place on a straight knitting needle.
