<p>Combo Scarf is made from 2 strands of DK weight and 1 strand of worsted weight yarn. You can use a variety of sports weight and bulky weight yarns too</p>
<p>Skill Level: easy<br />
Stitches Used: cast on, knit, purl, <a href="http://niftyknitting.com/stitches/">bind off</a>, making pom poms<br />
Measures: 5&#8243; wide and 60&#8243; long.<br />
Gauge: in stockinette stitch, 8 stitches and 10 rows = 4&#8243; by 4&#8243;<br />
Notes: You can use any stitch pattern you want for the scarf. Just simply cast on more or less stitches. Keep in mind that you can make multiple Combo Scarfs with the amount of yarn listed below. (it takes hardly any of the yarn to make 1 scarf)</p>

<li>1 skein Caron Simply Soft, light pink &#8211; 315 yds (100% acrylic)</li>
<li>size 15 knitting needles</li>
<li>yarn needle</li>
<li>cardboard (for pom poms)</li>
</ul>
<p>-Pattern-<br />
Stockinette Stitch Version</p>
<ol>
<li>With 1 strand of each yarn, cast on 10 stitches.</li>
<li>Knit 1 row.</li>
<li>Purl 1 row.</li>
<li>Repeat numbers 2 and 3 till piece measures 60&#8243;.</li>
<li>Bind off.</li>
<li>Weave in ends.</li>
<li>Make 6 pom poms with a diameter of 1 1/2&#8243;.</li>
<li>Attach 3 pom poms to each end.</li>
</ol>
<p>Garter Stitch Version</p>
<ol>
<li>With 1 strand off each yarn, cast on 10 stitches.</li>
<li>Knit till pieces measures 60&#8243;.</li>
<li>Bind off.</li>
<li>Weave in ends.</li>
