Notes: for bobble rows, join fur yarn at the beginning of each row and drape it across for each bobble. Patons Silverlash is discontinued, it can be substituted for Lion Brand Festive Fur or another metallic fur yarn.
Gauge: in stockinette stitch, with Natura, 14 stitches and 18 rows = 4″ by 4″

  • 1 skein Caron Natura, lace – 159 yds (100% acrylic)
  • 1 skein Patons Silverlash, crystallite cream – 164 yds (Polyester, Metallic)
  • size 9 knitting needles
  • stitch holder

-Bobbles-

  1. To make a bobble work this pattern: with Silverlash, in the next stitch, *knit 1, purl 1,* repeat from * 8 times, knit 1, bring last knitted stitch threw the 16 stitches before it. (1 stitch left)

-Pattern-

  1. With Silverlash cast on 22 stitches.
  2. Knit 2 rows.
  3. Decrease, knit till there are 2 stitches left, decrease. (20 stitches)
  4. Knit 3 rows.
  5. With Natura, knit 1 row.
  6. Knit 3, purl 14, knit 3.
  7. Repeat numbers 5 and 6.
  8. Knit 5, MB, knit 5, MB, knit 4, MB, knit 5. (above is how to make a bobble)
  9. Repeat numbers 6 and 7.
  10. Knit 3, MB, knit 4, MB, knit 5, MB, knit 5.
  11. Repeat numbers 6 and 7.
  12. Knit 3, MB, knit 4, MB, knit 5, MB, knit 5.
  13. Repeat numbers 6 and 7.

  26. Bind off.
  27. With right side facing, fold the bind off edge up 5 1/2″, sew side seams.
  28. Sew the strap ends together.

-Pattern-

  1. Cast on 80 stitches.
  2. Work knit 4, purl 4, ribbing for 5 rows.
  3. Knit 4, *purl 4, C4F,* till there are 4 stitches left, knit 4.
  4. Work knit 4, purl 4, ribbing for 5 rows.
  5. Bind off loosely in knit 4, purl 4, ribbing.
  6. Weave in ends.
  7. Sew sides together.

This cute little top is fast and easy to knit.  It is worked in the round from stitches picked up from the border, that is knitted lengthwise.

Notes: pattern comes in girl sizes small, (medium, large). Measurements may seem small, but the top will stretch
Gauge: with larger knitting needles, in stockinette stitch, 14 stitches 19 and – rows = 4″ by 4″

  • 1 (1,2) skein Pisgah Yarn & Dyeing Co., Inc, Peaches ‘n’ Creme, shocking pink – 122 yds (100% cotton)

  1. With shocking pink yarn and size 9 knitting needles, cast on 8 (10, 12) stitches.

  4. Knit 6 (8, 8) rows.
  5. Bind off 23, (28, 33) stitches, knit to end. (5, [7,9] stitches)
  6. Knit till piece measure 8″ (9″, 10″).
  7. Cast on 23, (28, 33) stitches, knit 6, (8, 8) rows. (28, [30, 42] stitches)
